Saying goodbye to good friend, Shelton Hughes.
Brian and Paula Mogenson from our ward were our special guardian angels. They just happened to be on the same flight as Andrew; so Brian said he'd be Andrew's companion and walk him to his gate in the LA airport where Andrew was able to meet several other missionaries headed to Guatemala City. The first tender mercy of many more to come for Andrew as a missionary.
Whoops, Andrew's two large suitcases were 13 lbs. overweight. Good thing I threw in an extra carry on just in case we needed it. When you have 3 pairs of size 13 shoes and 1 pair of boots to pack, the weight adds up quickly. Dawson and Dillon helped repack the suitcases.
