First Transfer in Guatemala MTC

Well two weeks are down and we already had a transfer today! Although
that only affects the Latinos who have come and gone already. These
weeks have gone by so fast now that we do about the same thing every
day. It is quite an adjustment studying all day every day, but i am
still enjoying it. It was hard to say goodbye to some of the new
Latino friends i made. They are super cool!

 Because of transfers today, yesterday was pday and we got to take a bus into the city!                    Our MTC president took us to an elevation map of Guatemala that takes up
like an acre and he explained his theory on where the Nephites and
Lamanites live, fought, etc. I think Guatemala is where it all
happened after all his explaining. Everything matches perfectly to the
descriptions in the BOM.

After, we went to this HUGE underground
market with all kinds of vendors like clothes, pig heads, handmade
stuff, etc. that was crazy! i have some pictures of all this. ill send
home someday.  then i placed my first book of Mormon! in espanol! it
is so nerve racking but i think i did ok even though some of his
questions we had no clue what he said so we just went on like he didn't
say anything. but it was nice to see what its really like out there
outside of our mtc bubble.

Today we got a busload of 30 new
Americanos. 14 elders and 16 sisters.  I cant get over how good the
food is! we have had steak, lots of Latin food, omelets and all kinds
of good stuff. and i haven't gotten sick yet, so ill see how long i can
hold off.

 Our district is awesome! we might be studying one day when
someone mentions something they learned, then we end up having a full
on testimony meeting! the spirit is so strong here and i am excited
for when we can do more street contacting. So every day we teach an
'investigator' ,our teacher, completely in Spanish! its pretty
nerve racking and we don't say much, but its good practice.
