MTC District and off to San Salvador

Andrew's MTC District
with Elder Andreasen from Redlands, California and ElderTarin from Springville, Utah.

Dear Brother and Sister Flake,
Thanks for sharing your son with us. He is a great young man.
Your son arrived on Tuesday in El Salvador. He was assigned and sent to his first area on Wednesday.
He is working in the Versalles ward in the La Libertad Stake in the capital, San Salvador. Put those names in the meetinghouse locater window in the LDS webpage and you will be able to find a google maps foto of his area!!!
His companion is a great trainer, Elder Cerrud, from Panama.
With the very accelerated pace of the missionary training and transfers we are now subject to, sadly we don’t have time for their writing home any more the day they arrive, like we did in 2012.  He arrived at noon Tuesday and by noon Wednesday he was headed to his area!  He will have time to write to you on Monday.
He is doing fine and is going to be a great missionary.
Thanks so much for sharing him with us.
If you need to reach us for anything else you may reply by email at any time. Also I am including my wife´s email in case you need it.
Thanks again.
Hope you enjoy conference.  He will be listening to it in Spanish in a chapel close to his area.

Best wishes, and may the Lord´s blessings be with you!

Misión El Salvador San Salvador

(I hadn't heard from Elder Andrew this week. I knew he was supposed to have left for his mission in San Salvador on Tuesday morning. I didn't hear anything from him all week so I emailed his mission on Saturday and received this reply from his new mission president. A mom just needs to know where her son is and if he made it to the mission. They said that we will hear from him on Monday! Can't wait. Shelly)
